Drill Camp

Morgan has recently made the Drill team at her High School.  I am very proud of her and her accomplishments. She had the opportunity to go to Dance Camp with her team. During this time she learned various drill techniques and dances; which include lyrical, hip hop, military, and jazz. There were 7 different dances in all to be performed in front of the adoring fans, their parents.   

I was going to let her have this time to bond with her team mates and not interrupt their time together but last minute Morgan texted me and asked me if I could "pretty please and come".  I am glad I did.  I love to watch Morgan dance.  The team walked away with two awards..." The Precision Award" and "The Best Dance Award."  Morgan is very tired and glad to be home, but had a blast!

blogging....

Why must we scrapbook...?  I have pretty much given up on scrapbooking... mostly because it is messy and I never have time or energy to cut and paste.  Besides the fact that I hate that it is never organized; so that when I have a desire to scrapbook it takes me hours to go through pictures...decide what to scrapbook and how I want to apply said picture to said cute, expensive paper.

My sister decided along time ago that she didn't want to scrapbook...  Instead she is very diligent writing on her blog and posting pictures.  Anyway, she prints off her blog every year for a fraction of what is would cost to buy ornate stickers, paper, paper punches, stamps and what not....the list is endless and right as we speak the scrapbook supplies are collecting dust in my craft room.   I think I might do the same thing...  That way if it doesn't work out I only have my sister to blame. :)
