First Day of School

The new school year has begun and with that comes new emotions, new clothes, new grades and a attitude of a wonderful school year. A couple of weeks ago Rachel and Olivia started 5th and 2nd grade. Rachel is a sweet girl and takes care of her little sister and worries about making sure she gets to class on time.

Rachel was nervous because she and Olivia now on a different track then last year and so she doesn't have any friends in her class. I'm not worried about her she will make friends and all will be well.

Olivia is of course the baby and with this it can be emotional for me to see her follower her teacher into the classroom. I don't know if I am mourning her babyhood or the fact that I am getting older and time is passing to quickly.

According to Rachel and Olivia the day was a success and they are ready for more.

Morgan and Anna

Anna and Morgan started school this last week. We had done their clothes shopping a week before and they had all their clothes planned out two week in advance. Anna started 8th grade. She was so excited she worried that she wouldn't get enough sleep the night before. She is use to having Morgan in the school with her and she won't have that this year. But I know she will do well and the school will be hers to rule.

Anna

Morgan started her first day of High School. She loved it and only got lost once. She came home hungry because the lunch lines where too complicated to figure out.
It wasn't very long ago when I started my first day of high school. I told Morgan that high school is what you make of it. So have lots of fun.

Mothers have often said "Where has the time gone?" Paul and I had just started our family. Now all the girls are in school and are thriving. I can't believe that it has gone by so fast. It scares me that there are so many memories that are no longer full memories but are fragments of the past. We are ready for the future.... just not so fast, please.

You posted! I can't believe you have kids in 3 different schools now (and even 2 different tracks-that will be weird). Keep us up to date with how they all do this year in school.
