A day in the life....

Work...That is what I did today. I went to work at 8:15 this morning and taught little kids how to read, write and wipe their nose. Comforted a little boy that doesn't ever seem to have a place in the world and was told by another boy that I was really mean and should be fired. Go figure...

I came home finished a purse that I sold five days ago and another purse I sold two days ago. Both of which need to travel half way around the world to be hopefully loved and cared for by their owners.

Meanwhile my baby girls came home from school. I gave them some love and a list of chores to do. Also leaving a list of chores to do for the older girls. I had to leave a little early so that I could go to the post office and mail my packages out.

Going to the post office SUCKS! Especially if the packages are going foreign. I now know why alot of etsy seller do not sell to people in foreign countries. Writing addresses in thriplicate. I've decided an address stamp is a must!

I barely made it to my last job of the day. A job that I enjoy. I love working with the fabric and the customers. I love to sell people fabric that they don't need. I am a fabric pusher. People are addicted to buying fabric and I use that to my advantage. I was there for almost seven hours tonight. Now I am sitting in my family room at 11:42 at night wondering how in the hell I am going to get up in the morning to be to work at 9:00 sharp. Does anyone have any energy I could borrow?

A busy dawn...

Getting the girls off to school is such an affair. Morgan and Anna do a very good job being responsible to get their butts out of bed and off to school while their parents lay lazily in bed like the grandparents from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Can you get the picture?

Paul started his new job and seems to like it so far and would like to keep a schedule that would be befitting an ad agency. To top it all off he got a free bus pass from his company and we feel that with the gas prices being what they are we could save $300, in gas, a month. So we have been desparately trying to get out butts out of bed because if he takes the bus/trax it will take him about an hour to get to his office in Salt Lake. So far it's not working very well. It might be the fact that we go to bed at 1:00 in the morning.

Anywhoo...You should be here in the morning. We are a sight, daring each other to get out of bed first. Meanwhile the girls are showered and downstairs eating a cold, soggy, bowl of cereal and I am sure they hate us for that. I know I would.

Rachel and Olivia by this time have stirred in the slumber. Morgan and Anna just happen to wake them up with their morning radio music playing and the blow drier's incessant sound. Both of which are very irritating in the morning while trying to sleep. Even Rachel and Olivia get themselves dressed by themselves in morning, most morning I will stumbled out of bed so that I can put Olivia's hair in her ever wearing ponytail and I loving pour them their cold bowl of cereal.

Thank heavens for the bus. For I am sure that the neighbors and the school crossing guard would not appreciate me running my children to school in my underwear. Well, I am sure the dirty old man down the street wouldn't mind.

Dinner...

I try so hard to eat right and much of the time I fail. But tonight we
are having salmon and fresh tomatoes from the garden. Can't go wrong
with either.

The nice things of life.

Today was a nice day. We cleaned and organized the house to get ready for the upcoming busy week. Hanging out with the family and going to Ikea to buy a bookshelf. Had Mom and Dad over for a spaghetti dinner. It was such a nice night that we carried the kitchen table outside and had dinner there. I'm thinking a picnic table will be a good idea next summer.

But of course the very best part of it all...I didn't have to work.

To start....

I have decided to break-out and do the unheard of. Yes...I want to start seriously blogging. I have done a little in the past but nothing that was under my own design and control. Blogger has given me that control. I will probably still take advice from my wise and handsome computer geek husband, but it will still be mine.

I am not doing this for anybody but me and my family. I want to organize my thoughts and to keep track of everything that is going on in my family. Time is flying and the kids are growing up and I am forgetting all the wonderful memories that we have made.
