Hey! What's going on!?

Wow, It's been awhile. We are very busy here in the Murphy household. I am holding down two jobs. This equals one full time job. I don't know how people do it. I am barely making it. It will not last long, I have had the school job for awhile and the fabric store job just fell in my lap and so I thought I would try it out for awhile. Along with the two jobs I have started making purses and selling them on www.dith.etsy.com. I love to be creative. But it sure takes alot of time and energy. I am hoping to get the store working well enough that I can support my fabric habit.

Morgan, Anna, Rachel and Olivia are all in dance class. Infact Me, claudia (aka mother-in-law), Morgan and Anna are going to Disneyland. Morgan gets to perform there. We are so excited for the "GIRLS VACATION". I know we will have a great time. Paul will stay at home and watch the two little girls for the weekend we go. The only thing he asks is that the girls pick out what they are going to wear in the morning, before I leave on my vacation. Rachel and olivia tend to argue with me every morning about what they are going to wear. Wasting at least half-an-hour.

Does a badge come with that?

Recently, Anna and Rachel auditioned for the Community play. Waiting in line for what seemed like forever I think officially made me a stage mom. Does a badge come with that?
But it was all worth it, They both were asked to come to call-backs. Very exciting. The day of call backs arrived, I could tell they were both nervous. It was closed auditions so I couldn't play my part as stage mom. I was a little disappointed, but didn't have any worries about them tackling this adventure on their own. I was told to come and pick them up by 8:30. Rachel was so tried by then but Anna still had one more part to audition for so I actually got to see the process and try to possess the women that were casting the play to pick my Anna. Anna did well. And physically she fits the part beautifully. I am excited for them and hope for success. The girls know that their chances are slim, so many girls, so few parts. Either way they know that I am proud of them no matter what and I am sure I will be

90th South and State

This is the little filling station Dawn's great-grandparents owned, operated and lived in on 90th South and State Street, in what is now Sandy, UT.

This picture was taken facing west, looking down 90th South. State Street is in the foreground and runs horizontally.

Olivia's song

I thought I would add to Paul's once a day writings.

When I will be a superstar
And I wouldn't be a superstar-a-ar
and when I will be a superstar you
can be my girlfriend.
And I will be a superstar!
Then we can be together forever
And you will be sorry for the messes
That you made. And I will call you crazy.
And I will be a superstar.

A job...

I just got a job yesterday. I am back in the work force. It is a perfect situation. I will be working in an elementary school in the resource center. My hours are for 8:40 to 11:40. I get time off during the time the girls are off track and I don't work any of the "short weeks" like UEA. Olivia has preschool a couple of day a week while I am at work in Mary's neighborhood and Mom is going to "play" with her the other days. I asked Olivia if it was ok if I got a job and she said "yes, because then I wouldn't be lonely when she is not here." She is my sweetie pie. It has been awhile since I was in the work force.
