Bear Lake in July

 Grandma Claudia, Dawn, Hannah

This past 4th of July we packed our bags and headed to what would be my 17th year of going up to Bear Lake to Paul's family cabin.  Greg and Hannah were driving down from Washington State to be with us.  Olivia and Joey couldn't wait to play together.  It was an all together pretty nice weekend.

Morgan and boyfriend Corey Haraldson

This is a Ninja Turtle.... aka Sammy

Leah wanted in on the face painting too...Didn't Rachel do a fine job?!

"She shoots, she scores!"  Olivia is always up for a game of basketball and she is not half bad.

Hanging in the house.

Rachel either warming up or hiding her fair skin from the sun.  Either way..Isn't she cute?!

I had to beg and plead with Olivia to let me do her hair. She was having too much fun to worry about her hair.  I love her to bits!

Ok...this might be a self portrait.  I wanted proof that I was there too.
Assigned seating

Little Madaline...Sweet baby!

This is the first time that we have ever roasted marshmallows at Bear Lake.....and I ask myself..
WHAT TOOK SO LONG?!

Uncle Greg and Ben (Hannah's Brother) getting the fireworks show ready for our viewing.  Of course we were not the only people on the beach setting off illegal fireworks.  The show was awesome!
It's always warmer when you have a cuddle buddy. Not sure they will appreciate this picture when they get older...but I do.

Leah's wise words..."I really like how the fireworks light up the sky."  Leah I do have to agree with you.

Who doesn't have time for sparklers!

We yet again had another successful trip to Bear Lake and no one got sunburned  too bad...ok well maybe a little.

Sweet Rachel

Rachel's 11th birthday has come and gone.  My tall, lanky freckled faced little girl is growing..  She is much taller than both her older sisters at this age.  She has a mind of her own and does what she likes.  Hence the nick name "Boss".  She is growing up into a spectacular kid.  I hope I can help her steer that spectacularness into someone that she can be proud of.

Flowers From a Fab Guy!

Ok...my brother knows how to make a girl feel special. Thank you
Christian.

Mother and Daughter Retreat

I don't have to tell you how much I enjoy having all girls...They are my world and wouldn't trade one of them for anything. Nana, Aunt Ernie, cousin Megan, Aunt Meme, Me, Morgan, Anna, Rachel, Olivia, and cousins Julia and Ellie had the opportunity to go to Heber Valley Camp. What a beautiful location.  The church has done a wonderful job establishing a place where girls can be one with nature and appreciate what Heavenly Father has given them.

Some of the great women of my family

Aren't we funny...?

Oldest and Youngest

We are easily amused !

Rachel-pooh-boss!  Camping suits her in a valley-girl-kind-of-way.

These are some of the beautiful women in my life.

Megan was really impressed with her surroundings.  It was fun to watch her little eyes explore.

Bestest Cousins. Julia and Olivia climbing a rock.

Anna and Megan hanging in the cabin.
